Matt Mooks - Juggler, teacher and artist based in London.

I have been practicing my arts for over 20 years, starting off in tap dance and drama up to the age of 18 then adding circus and art in my early 20’s.

All my art is 100% hand drawn, focusing around mathematical and tribal design. I take influence from a lot of geometry, Arabic, Tibetan and Celtic work to create my type of art which are commonly known as mandalas. Commissions are available upon request for originals as well as tattoo design, wall murals and any thing else that can be painted on! In the future I hope to get into tattooing my work my self.

The other side of my profession is in circus, mainly diabolo and different forms of juggling ( However clubs are my strength) in which I teach and perform with l.E.D props as well as fire for both corporate and private clients.

My work has spanned over many different clientele, such as – Schools, private tuition, music videos, t.v, extras work, bars, restaurants, nightclubs, hotels, charities, councils, fireworks nights, Christmas events , festivals , fetes, weddings and more!

The high light of my career so far would have to be living in Turkey on 3 occasions working along side Unicef and an amazing social circus charity (https://heryerdesanat.org/) Here i was teaching after school along side other artist from across the globe. Every day consisted of teaching circus as well as arts and crafts, English and general child minding for children from a highly disadvantaged background. On my second project we toured schools for 3 months around the Syrian boarder, reaching an estimated 38,000 children!

I work as a solo performer, however with fire I work with a troupe known as Circudelia which is a London based collective. ( please see two of our promo videos in my video section )

If multiple performers are required I am well connected to the rest of the performing industry especially in London, Bristol and the south east. Other disciplines that I can provide for events are as follows – Acrobatics, aerial disciplines, poi, hula hoop, showgirls and stilt walkers, Cyr wheel, multiple jugglers, clowns, and a vast array of other fire performers that can really make your event something to remember.

Both my arts are very time consuming and it is what i live for . My goal in life is simply share my interests with as many people as i can.

I am fully insured with a CRB certificate and open for enquires. My price list is available upon request however is up to negotiation relative of your needs.
